New Computational Developmental Neuroscience Laboratory Members
The CDNLab is excited to share that we are welcoming three new members to our team: Ben Scheve, Christina Luo, and Sarah Harris! Ben and Christina are our incoming graduate students this fall. Ben was the inaugural lab manager and is staying on as a doctoral student to continue his research on adolescent social and affective development. Christina joins us from Washington University (St. Louis) and is looking forward to studying the neurodevelopment and processes of socio-emotional functions. Sarah Harris is our incoming lab manager, hailing from Los Angeles. She is looking forward to managing projects within the lab and learning more about emotion regulation during development. Christina Luo - Christina (Hexin) is an incoming graduate student in the lab. She joins us from Washington University in St. Louis, where she completed her master’s study and post-bac; before that, she earned her B.A. in Psychology and Communication from UC Davis. She is looking forward to focusing her graduate training on the neurodevelopment of socio-emotional functions, particularly in how emotions are recognized, communicated, and regulated in dynamic social contexts, and how these processes relate to the development of socio-emotional functioning and neurodevelopmental conditions.
Ben Scheve - Ben is an incoming graduate student in the lab. He is staying in the lab where he has been a post-bac for the last two years. Before being at the University of Wisconsin, Ben received a B.S. In psychology and history at Yale University. He is excited to continue studying adolescent social and affective development in the lab, with a focus on social cognition and decision-making.
Sarah Harris - Sarah is the CDNLab’s new lab manager. She joins us from the University of California, Los Angeles where she received a B.A. in psychology. She looks forward to supporting the management of lab projects while further developing her research interests in emotion regulation during adolescent development.
